I was playing Beyond Good and Evil, and I was thinking to myself, it's been a good while since this game has come out. It hasn't changed the fact that it's a fun game, and I was thinking about all the great games I used to play. I think I only played action games, and jRPGs in the past.
There was a time when I thought Spyro was the best game there ever was. I absolutely loved Spyro and the first 3 games in the series. And then I stopped caring about the rest of the entries in the series. There are a lot of Spyro games now, and it's turned into the Skylanders series, instead of the Spyro series. I played those first 3 games a lot over time, and I was dedicated enough to hit 100% completion.
Aside from Spyro, the other games I really loved were Legend of Legaia, and The Legend of Dragoon. The funny thing is I was looking for another game when I found those two. I was searching for Legend of Mana. In case you hadn't noticed, they all start with the word 'Legend'. I had seen someone else playing Legend of Mana, and was interested in it. It had that action feel, but it was kind of different. The only thing I could remember about the game was that it had 'Legend' in it's name. I ended up with two other games that were turn-based games. Good thing I ended up with these quality games, or I might not have been drawn into the beautiful world of jRPGs.
