Just beat Dead Space 3 today, and I can say it was a fun game. It might not have the horror of the previous games, and on normal difficulty it didn't have really any survival aspect either, but it was still very enjoyable. I had a blast playing through the whole game with a friend in co-op. It was really neat to see the little extra back story of the 2nd character, gives him a bit of depth beneath that merciless guy surface.
The new feature that I really liked was the huge crafting system in the game. Frames, gun tips, upgrade circuits and more, so many pieces that each affect the end result of a weapon. Experimenting was a lot of fun, and discovering a really cool weapon felt great. It was an amazing upgrade from the previous weapons upgrade system.
I've also been playing a little bit of Bioshock Infinite lately, haven't put much time into it yet, but I can say that I am definitely enjoying it. It's entertaining to listen to the banter between Elizabeth and Booker. Booker being the character you play, and Elizabeth being the other character who follows you around. Doesn't have the same feel as the previous two Bioshocks, but there's still a lot of feeling awesome with plasmids going on.
